My key to explaing koyasan goes a step deeper,

focusing on the distinct differences.

For example, I will explain key higlights using illustrations. For instance, I will use numbers when explaining Esoteric Buddhism.

I will also explain Samurai seppuk, including the lay out and number of tatami mats used in the ritual, with illustrations.

Which part of Koyasan would you like to visit ?

The visited locations, times, fees, capacity and language are as follows.

English only for the tour.

2 hours for Kongobuji Temple. 

1 hour for Temple Complex.

2 hours for Okunoin Sanctuary.

The capacity is up to 8 people. It costs 8000 yen per hour, whether for 1 person or 8.

The key point here is that the price is the same at 8000 yen, whether for one person or eight.

This means it becomes a better deal with more people.

The temple admission fee is seperate.

Please bring cash.

If you take the Okunoin Sanctuary tour, Please prepare about 2000 yen for the round-trip taxi fare for the guide between Kongobuji temple and Okunoin Sanctuary.

We cannot accept responsibility for traffic or other unexpected accidents, so please exercise  utmost caution on the roads.
